Meet Krystle
With 12 years experience as a highly regarded tax and accounting expert in Australia, Krystle established Summer Hill Tax in 2016 when she noticed there weren’t many accountants who were prepared to take the time to explain Australia’s complicated tax system in plain English.
A self-confessed ‘maths nerd’ from a young age, it was perhaps inevitable that Krystle’s love of numbers would lead to a career in tax and accounting. She loves that there is always a right or a wrong answer; there are no grey areas for interpretation. For Krystle it’s not just about the numbers, but the stories they tell.
She closely follows the unique journeys of all her clients, and she loves that every milestone in her client’s lives is accompanied by a financial change.
On any given day, Krystle can be attending client meetings over Zoom, preparing tax returns, crunching the numbers in Xero and liaising with the ATO on complex client enquiries. She loves helping her clients structure their finances, so their money thrives, their businesses grow, and their goals are met.
Krystle is proud of the modern female led accounting practice she has built. With a strong client base of small businesses, property investors, individuals and young families, she has a reputation for listening and always being there for her clients. She also has a serious passion for gardening, technology and coffee. She loves spending time with her husband and kids, playing with her two big puppies and tending to her plants.

Meet Maddii
Maddii is our tax guru in training, or “Tax Assistant” if you insist on formality.
She started at Summer Hill Tax in May 2023 and has worked in the accounting industry for over five years, achieving a Bachelor’s in accounting on her way. Tackling any challenges that come her way with gusto, Maddii is solution orientated and loves pulling apart a problem at the roots, a trait that has aided her well in her career and personal life. She’s embraced the quirky nature of Summer Hill Tax with open arms, fitting in perfectly with our corporate culture.
Maddii is family oriented and blessed with a hidden talent for upcycling furniture. She’s passionate about spending quality time with them, eating delicious food and seeking out some decent coffee! At the end of a long day, you’ll find her enjoying a refreshing beverage on the deck as she watches the sunset.
TAX ASSISTANT
Meet Skye
Skye recently became a part of our team at Summer Hill Tax, taking up the role of administrative assistant in May 2023. As a crucial point of contact for our clients, she diligently handles their inquiries, composes emails, and schedules appointments. Skye has been working in the wonderful world of accounting since she was 17, with almost 13 years of experience under her belt. She loves the inherently diverse nature of the accounting industry and how it enables her to encounter people with various backgrounds and experiences.
Embracing remote work has proven to be a tremendous advantage for her, granting her the freedom to establish a harmonious work-life balance and assume responsibility for her priorities and workload as well as giving her more time with her family and beloved pets. Skye is a naturally empathetic person who highly values kindness and respect for others - as long as you don’t get between her and her Red Bull!
